Nearly finished with my backlog of negatives and had 4 left that all required N+ developing. So I put them all in my trusty Stearman Press 445 tank and headed upstairs to the kitchen to develop them. I had screwed on the lids so tight I couldn’t get them open to pour in the presoak water. So I popped open the top to pour in the water.
About 3 seconds too late I realized what I had done. DOH!
I went a head and processed them any way but as expected the top half of each sheet was black. This reminded me why I tend to process single sheets rather than bulk.
Now I have to hike up Nancy Womak trail again which has an elevation gain of 500 feet in the first mile for a water fall that isn’t spectacular but has some interesting creek vignettes after a good rain.
I also had a couple of holders where the film was stuck so bad I had to turn on the light just to see what the problem was. More wasted film.
