Great gear is something many photographers covet and fret over. The chase for better cameras, lenses, and gadgets rarely leads to better photographs unless the photographer gets out and uses them. If I were a rich man I might have a more diverse bit of gear and certainly newer digital gear. But I find I only shoot occasionally so I do not need to invest in latest and greatest. If a wealthy benefactor would like to bequeath an inheritance, I would not turn them away.
